Publication Ethics Statement
Edunity: Social and Educational Studies publishes scientific articles in the scope of general science. Articles published are articles of research, studies, or critical and comprehensive scientific reviews of important and current issues or reviews from scientific books. This statement explains the ethical behavior of all parties involved in the publishing process including the writer, Editorial Board, Expert Editor, and Publisher. Our Publication Ethics are based on COPE’s Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors.
Ethical Guidelines for Publishing
Article publishing in the Edunity: Social and Educational Studies. The Indonesian Scientific Journal is a very important process in developing coherent and respectable knowledge. This is a direct reflection of the quality of work and the writer's institutions that support researchers. The articles reviewed contain and support scientific methodology. Therefore, it is important to agree on standards of expected ethical behavior for all parties involved in the publishing process including writers, editors, expert editors, implementing editors, publishers, and the public.
Decision of Issuance
The editors are responsible for deciding the articles submitted must be published. The validation of these works and their importance to the writer and reader must support the decision. The editors are guided by the policies of the journal's editorial board and are limited by laws covering libel, copyright, and plagiarism. Editors can discuss with other editors or the assessment team to decide on policies.
Justice
The editors always judge the text based on their intellectuality regardless of race, gender, creed, ethnicity, nationality, or political philosophy of the writer.
Confidentiality
Expert editors and implementing editors are prohibited from disclosing any information related to the manuscript sent to anyone other than to the authors themselves, senior editors, bestari partners, and publishers.
Notification and Conflict of Interest
All unpublished content written in the manuscript is prohibited from being used in the editor's own research without confirmation from the author.
Contribution to Editor's Decisions
Expert Editor's Ratings help editors make editorial decisions and through communication between editorials and writers, this can help writers to improve their articles.
