This aims to highlight the significance of mass media and digital literacy in enhancing students' knowledge and skills. The type of research employed in this result is descriptive, with a qualitative approach. Data were collected by observation, interview, and documentation techniques. Checking the validity of the data using triangulation techniques. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The results indicate that key factors for students to understand the dynamics and challenges of Indonesian democracy include awareness of the importance of democracy, the ability to learn and adapt, openness to societal problems, practical communication skills, and the courage to fight for truth and justice. As a result, various human needs have become increasingly reliant on internet support and the digital world as a vehicle for interaction and transactions. This study aims to analyze the application of the Arena Belajar Mandiri (ABM) learning model in improving students' comprehension skills of the Introduction to Norms in Daily Life material at SMA Negeri 1 Purwadadi. The research method employed a qualitative research approach, specifically a type of classroom action research (PTK). The research subjects consisted of 36 students from class X-3. Data collection techniques using tests and observations. The data analysis technique involved comparing the class average value of the test results from each cycle with classical completeness using a predetermined formula. The results showed that students' understanding of the material of the introduction of norms in everyday life could increase after applying the ABM learning model in cycle I and cycle II. This is indicated by an increase in classical completeness from 22.22% in the initial data to 52.78% in cycle I, and then to 80.56% in cycle II. Thus, this research concludes that the application of the Arena Belajar Mandiri (ABM) model can improve students' comprehension skills.
Neneng Kaniawati Sunarso Sunarso Copyright (c) 2025 Neneng Kaniawati*, Sunarso https://edunity.publikasikupublisher.com/index.php/Edunity/copyright_and_license_statement 2025-03-24 2025-03-24 4 3 10.57096/edunity.v4i3.384 The Evolution of Afghanistan's Borders Throughout History and Its Geopolitical Impacts https://edunity.publikasikupublisher.com/index.php/Edunity/article/view/381
This research explores the historical evolution of Afghanistan's borders and their geopolitical impacts. The main goal of the study is to analyze how changes in Afghanistan's borders have influenced its security, economy, international relations, and domestic politics, as well as its role in regional and global power dynamics. The research uses a systematic review of historical sources, geopolitical analyses, and both qualitative and quantitative data. The sources include historical treaties, diplomatic documents, reports from international organizations, and academic studies published. The findings reveal that Afghanistan's borders have undergone significant changes throughout history, largely influenced by colonial powers and regional rivalries. These border changes have had profound effects on Afghanistan's national and regional security, contributing to issues such as drug trafficking, terrorism, and illegal migration. Additionally, Afghanistan's economy has been heavily impacted by unstable borders and political tensions with neighboring countries. The creation of artificial borders, such as the Durand Line, has also led to ethnic and identity challenges within the country. Due to its strategic location, Afghanistan plays a crucial role in regional and global power dynamics. The country's borders have not only shaped its internal structure but have also had significant implications for international relations and regional security. To stabilize its borders and enhance overall stability, Afghanistan must engage in active diplomacy, foster regional economic cooperation, and implement effective border management strategies. These measures can help strengthen Afghanistan's position in regional and global power dynamics, contributing to long-term peace and development.
Fayaz Gul Mazloum Yar Sayed Habibullah sadaat Copyright (c) 2025 Fayaz Gul Mazloum Yar, Sayed Habibullah Sadaat https://edunity.publikasikupublisher.com/index.php/Edunity/copyright_and_license_statement 2025-03-22 2025-03-22 4 3 104 110 10.57096/edunity.v4i3.381 Future-Proofing Graduates: A Dynamic Micro-Credential Quality Management System in Higher Education to Ensure Self-Learning Ability, Innovation Capacity, and Career Growth https://edunity.publikasikupublisher.com/index.php/Edunity/article/view/385
The Micro-Credential Quality Management System (QMS) is designed as a dynamic framework to enhance graduate employability, self-learning ability, and innovation capacity in higher education. This study adopts a research and development (R&D) approach to develop, implement, and validate a QMS that ensures micro-credentials align with industry standards, competency-based learning, and labor market demands. The preliminary validation phase tested the QMS in both vocational and academic settings, involving key stakeholders such as educators, students, and industry professionals. The findings confirm that the system effectively bridges the gap between education and industry, ensuring credible, standardized, and globally recognized micro-credentials. The QMS fosters a flexible and competency-driven learning environment, enabling graduates to acquire targeted skills that enhance career growth and workforce readiness. This study highlights the importance of continuous evaluation, industry collaboration, and standardization in optimizing the implementation of micro-credentials. The research contributes to the advancement of quality assurance in micro-credentialing, reinforcing its role as a transformative tool for lifelong learning and professional development.
Surono Surono Heni Jusuf Copyright (c) 2025 Surono*, Heni Jusuf https://edunity.publikasikupublisher.com/index.php/Edunity/copyright_and_license_statement 2025-03-25 2025-03-25 4 3 143 157 10.57096/edunity.v4i3.385 Application of the project based learning model based on lesson study to improve Students' critical thinking skills https://edunity.publikasikupublisher.com/index.php/Edunity/article/view/383
This research aims to enhance critical thinking skills using the Lesson research-based project-based learning (PjBL) model in improving the critical thinking skills of grade VII students in social studies subjects at SMP Negeri 4 Ciawigebang. The theory supports this research. According to Trianto, which states that "the purpose of this PjBL method has the following objectives: 1) to provide broad insight into students when facing problems directly; 2) developing critical thinking skills and expertise in dealing with problems that are received directly". The problem addressed in this research is the low critical thinking ability of students, characterized by their dependence on reading books and a lack of initiative in solving problems independently. The research method employed was a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group. This research involved two groups of students: the experimental group, which received project-based learning (PjBL) based on Lesson research, and the control group, which used the lecture method. The analysis results showed a significant difference in critical thinking skills between the experimental and control groups. Thus, the research-based Lesson Project-based Learning (PjBL) learning model can be an effective alternative for developing students' critical thinking skills in secondary school.
Rani Tania Pratiwi Caecilia Dina Rosaline Atin Nuryatin Dewi Ningrum Agustin Deden Agustira Yulianti Yulianti Tati Rahmawati Muhammad Fahmi Fadli Rifa'i Copyright (c) 2025 Rani Tania Pratiwi*, Caecilia Dina Rosaline, Atin Nuryatin, Dewi Ningrum Agustin, Deden Agustira5, Yulianti, Tati Rahmawati, Muhammad Fahmi Fadli Rifa'i https://edunity.publikasikupublisher.com/index.php/Edunity/copyright_and_license_statement 2025-03-22 2025-03-22 4 3 111 122 10.57096/edunity.v4i3.383
